We like to host different events at EverFit Studios!  Sometimes it’s a series of classes, sometimes it’s a nutrition class, sometimes it’s a workshop!  Check back here often to see what’s happening in the studio!

I’ve put together a series of 4 workshops that I think you will find really helpful in managing some of the issues that I see come into my Fascial Stretch studio!  Check them out below.  Space is limited for in-person sessions.  Keep posted as I am in the process of recording the workshops and putting them online so that more people can access them.

FIXING LOW BACK PAIN

Thursday, February 22nd 5:00-6:00pm    $70 + HST

Low back pain is one of the most common issues I see in the studio.  It could be caused by a number of things.  And…it’s fairly simple to make some improvements!

In this workshop, we’ll discuss why your back hurts – is it posture? Injury? Tight muscles? We’ll look at the anatomy of back pain.  Then we will go through a series of stretches and movements to help alleviate the pain.  You will take home a sheet of instructions to do at home.  Class is limited to 5 spaces.

FIXING NECK PAIN

Thursday, February 29th 5:00-6:00pm      $70 + HST

Text neck anyone? We all have our heads dropped down looking at our phones and tablets.  Are you experiencing tight neck and shoulder muscles? How about headaches?  Can you easily turn your head from side to side? 

In this workshop, we’ll discuss why your neck hurts – is it posture? Injury? Tight muscles?  We’ll look at the anatomy of neck pain.  Then we’ll do a quick assessment on each participant to see where the pain may be coming from and proceed into a series of exercises and stretches based on the results of the assessment.  You will take home a sheet of instructions so you can repeat the corrective exercises at home.  Class is limited to 5 spaces.

Does your shoulder hurt when you try to raise a cup out in front of you? How about lifting something over your head?  You can get the arm up, but there’s discomfort there.  Can you reach back and put your seatbelt on?   Shoulders are a very unstable joint that often cause a lot of issues for people.

In this workshop, we’ll discuss why your shoulder hurts – is it posture? Injury? Tight muscles? We’ll look at the anatomy of shoulder pain.  Then we will go through some corrective exercises and stretches to help alleviate some of that should pain. You will take home a sheet of instructions so you can repeat the exercises/stretches at home.  Class is limited to 5 spaces.

FASCIA RELEASE YOU CAN DO AT HOME

There is so much you can do at home to release your fascia and help you to feel better!  Come and experience my top 5 releases to reduce pain and improvement your movement!

This is an easy class that anyone can do.  We will talk a little about fascia and why it gets tight.  Then we will go through 5 of my favourite releases that you can easily do at home.  You will take home a sheet of instructions so that you don’t forget!  Class is limited to 5 spaces.
